I just added a new file to my website!
Title: Divinity: Original Sin 2 - The Great Guardian
Description:
The Great Guardian is an enemy the player can find in the academy on the Nameless Isle. It's a bit hidden behind some doors and can be easily overlooked. Before entering the area with the Great Guardian the player meets a dead bird (Use Spirit Vision!) and received the "Proving Ground" sidequest. More importantly the Great Guardian drops the "Blade of the Swornbreaker" which is needed to craft the Swornbreaker. Alternatively the player can give the parts to Almira for the "The Key to Freedom" quest.
The battle itself was interesting as some enemies popped up a bit later and set the area aflame with their fire attacks. There are a few other strategies aside from battling them directly. You could also sneak past them and steal their batteries so to speak. The constructs power down and battle is not neccessary. Or you can use the mirrors to support you. Well, for me this was not needed. I bested them in direct combat.
